With every other piece of baby equipment that left, I cried. I packed up the bottles--sobs. I gave away the burp clothes--tears. This is one phase I will celebrate being through! No tears. We have a ways to go until diapers no longer appear on my grocery list, but we are well on our way and there's no looking back now!
This blog won't capture the major milestones of life. Instead, this is the place where I hope to capture the little day to day realities of life...the little things that I want to remember when the little handprints have faded away.

You Knew This Was Coming
I have a toddler. You had to know this was coming.
We are in the throes of potty training! This weekend, Evan suddenly decided he was very interested. Both of my babies have started with this little training potty. It is no longer in our house. Evan decided he only wants the big boy potty, and there was much rejoicing. The clouds parted, and we heard a heavenly chorus. It is good.
