While I make dinner, these two sit on the front porch, play, and wait for Dad. Sometimes they take outside toys to the porch; sometimes they take assorted trucks and dolls out. They always laugh and enjoy the fresh air. I can't think of a better soundtrack for dinner prep.
This blog won't capture the major milestones of life. Instead, this is the place where I hope to capture the little day to day realities of life...the little things that I want to remember when the little handprints have faded away.

Front Porch Sittin'
The kids have found a new wonderland:
The front porch. This territory used to be off limits unless a grown-up was with them--as in they best not exit that front door without a grown-up. This spring, though, we decided to let them venture to the porch--as in their feet best not touch a step without a grown-up. They are in love.
While I make dinner, these two sit on the front porch, play, and wait for Dad. Sometimes they take outside toys to the porch; sometimes they take assorted trucks and dolls out. They always laugh and enjoy the fresh air. I can't think of a better soundtrack for dinner prep.
