Day 266: Happy New Year!

We had a very quiet New Year's around here. Buddy did bring us some festive decorations and champagne flutes:

Issa and I have ourselves very festive manicures:

We ate appetizers and watched movies. I took a nap so I could get up at midnight to watch the ball drop. Today we are making deep dish pizza and snuggling in. 

It's a lovely, quiet start to 2021. 2020 was a wild ride--although not a bad one for us. We are excited to see what 2021 holds, and we are enjoying the quiet end to our holiday breaks.
