Every January, the dojo does a Quest Fit challenge. Usually it's a lot of small goals and moving pieces and really only for people who train at the dojo. This year, they kept it simple: 150 active minutes a week. That's it. We all jumped in, and Issa made us a chart for our first week last week:
In true Evan fashion, he did the math and opted out of some lunch walks and morning workouts to get his exact goal. So...we raised the bar to 300 minutes for week 2 and Issa made a new chart!We kicked off week two with a hike around the old Speedway in town:
They even had some old cars around where the track used to be, which made Evan very happy:
The old stone stands were also pretty cool:
This was our third hike in three weeks, and we are really loving exploring new trails and getting a little fresh air and sunshine!
