In an incredibly odd and lovely moment, I had coffee with a friend this morning. We sat on my sat porch for an hour and half and just caught up.
We talk every week, sometimes multiple times per week, but this is the first time in over a year that we sat and had a cup of coffee. It was truly lovely how quickly the old conversation flow came back, and it felt so good to actually share her energy.
It was one inch closer to post-pandemic life, and I am so looking forward to more coffee dates with her.
