Yesterday I was able to spend some time back in the pottery studio. Our family started watching the great pottery throw-down, and they have exaggerated views of my ability! As we watched, they kept saying, "You could do that!" No, no I cannot. But...it has encouraged me to try to be more deliberate about what I throw, and the family has started making requests.
Issa asked for a ring keeper, and after a few dismal failures, I was able to throw this yesterday:
