It's Almost Time!

When our kids turned 10, we told them that when the turned 15 we would take each of them on a Yes Trip. They would get a weekend away with one parent. The location and main event would be a surprise, but once we were there every detail was up to them. This year is Issa's turn, and we have been holding our breath and planning for what seems like forever, but we finally leave tomorrow:

We told Issa two weeks ago that she and I are headed to NYC to see Six. We needed to order some lined tights as to not freeze, and Issa included that note. She is so excited, and I am, too.

For a while, we thought it might now happen, but the surge seems to be past NYC! Everywhere we are going requires full vaccination and good masks. We will sanitize often and be as careful as possible, but we are going!
