Even though we live in the middle of a subdivision, our road is a virtual deer buffet. We live close to a wildlife preserve, and the deer have extended their meal plan to my day lilies. I have very mixed feelings about this. I love watching a small herd of deer walking down our street. They are such beautiful, graceful creatures. However, also really like my day lilies. Why can't they just focus on my weeds?
