After nap, we set the whale sprinkler up in the backyard. It is much more predictable than the other sprinkler, and Evan got a little closer. He's still not sure about the whole situation.
This blog won't capture the major milestones of life. Instead, this is the place where I hope to capture the little day to day realities of life...the little things that I want to remember when the little handprints have faded away.

Summer Fun
Yesterday, Nana, Papa, the kids, and I headed to the Life and Science Museum...with no cameras. I am very sad. The kids had a blast showing Nana and Papa their museum, especially the bears, wolves, lemurs, sailboats, butterflies, and Max the cow. The only pictures I have to show of the day are the pictures we took of the souvenirs when we got home.
Issa chose the stuffed butterfly. She has declared it the best stuffed butterfly ever!
Evan chose this bug vacuum. He spent the better part of the afternoon trying to chase flies; you can imagine the hilarity that ensued. It has a cool magnifying glass so that if he ever catches a bug he will be able to see it up close before he lets it go.
