The deal is she gets to stay up until 8:30, but the time between when Evan goes to bed and then can only be used reading. She was more than happy with that deal. Last night was her first big girl night, and she decided to use her reading pen.
We listened to her spell out loud, which was funny because she wore her headphones so we wouldn't have to listen to her books for the millionth time--her idea.
I really think she just likes the headphones. Such a big girl!
