Once he was in a jacket to absorb some of the initial impact, he was all about playing in the rain.
He and big sister made some rain soup, also known as a bucket of rain with leaves and grass in it. Issa announced, "It looked like slime, but it's really not." I have to agree.
The funniest moment was when Evan got a little impatient waiting for the rain to fill his bucket (because four inches in four hours was not fast enough):
The eave spout is a much faster method. They were out for over two hours before they got too cold and wet and were ready for a nice warm bath and some lunch. It was such fun to watch these two enjoy the simple joys of playing in the rain!
