Day 317: One Major Step Forward

Yesterday, I took a major step in the journey out of Covid quarantine:

I got my first dose of the Pfizer vaccine! Because I work with teachers in schools, I qualified to get vaccinated, and I am so very grateful. 

I won't lie: this sucker hurt! After an hour, I had a weird headache. I went to bed at 7:30 exhausted. I woke up this morning, though, and I feel physically great and so optimistic. The vaccination spot is a little tender, but I will happily walk if for that second dose in three weeks. 

It finally feels like there is a light at the end of the tunnel, and I can't wait.
