This weekend felt blissfully long. The boys had dojo time, and I spent a lot of time doing yardwork. One of the highlights, though, was Issa and Dad accepted the Studio's challenge. Dance dads take on stage make-up:
This dance day rocked it:There was much laughter in the process, but his old stage experience came in handy.
While Brad was taking a dojo seminar, the rest of us decided to do mani-pedis. Issa and I were in deperate need, and Evan didn't want to be left out:
He opted out of polish, but he said he did understand why we might like going to the nail spa:
Saturday also was Issa's night for dinner this week:
I had to laugh when she mentioned she had just made dinner on Thursday. Yep. You folks want dinner every night. She opted for California rolls and General Tso's chicken:
She is becomming quite the sushi expert!
Sunday was a much quieter day. Issa and I did a lot of gem painting, Brad had another dojo seminar, and Evan spent the entire day enjoying his first birthday gift of the year:
He built this remote-controlled lego tank all by himself:
He was quite please, and he loves playing with it with Inks, who finds it great fun to chase.
Mom and Shannon made a killer Spanish meal for dinner Sunday, and we all enjoyed a little family time to end the weekend.
We are all ready for another week of working from home:
Here we go...
