It is official summer! We celebrated the start of summer Friday with glowing cups and floating cotton candy:
We also celebrated with family pedicures:
This is a very different summer for us. Issa is in driver's ed this week, and for the first time we are having to adjust our schedules around the kids' jobs. Issa has a pretty full-time babysitting gig, and Evan is stringing together pet sitting jobs:
He really is a dog whisperer:
And I don't mind being the driver and getting some extra snuggles:
We had the bonus of seeing this mama dear:
And her sweet fawn:
The kids are really independent and fun to hang out with when no one is working. It's kind of nice to be in this phase where they can be a bit more independent. I think I'll take it.
