We found it! The Holy Grail of lunch boxes. Can you tell she's just a little in love with it? I like that it can grow with her and she can actually open it by herself. Why they make children's lunch boxes with those plastic pinching buckles or zippers that you have to move just right is beyond me! She is really thrilled.
We had a great shopping day yesterday. In addition to the lunch box, she chose two new outfits for her first half day and then her first whole day. The shocking development: she wears a 7/8 now! I knew she was growing, but I had no idea she was growing that much. We talked and laughed and generally had a great time.
Now...it's off to plan some menus for next week!
