Issa has taken over the making of her bed. Little did I know that would involve the addition of not one, not two, but twelve blankets! Every blanket she owns, all the ones that were made for her when she was little or given to her over the years, are piled on top of her quilt. She says it's cozy. Ironically, when we check on her she is on top of every single one. But...she's making it! And she is so proud.

The Latest in Independence
So, the latest move towards independence in our house:
Issa has taken over the making of her bed. Little did I know that would involve the addition of not one, not two, but twelve blankets! Every blanket she owns, all the ones that were made for her when she was little or given to her over the years, are piled on top of her quilt. She says it's cozy. Ironically, when we check on her she is on top of every single one. But...she's making it! And she is so proud.
